* its design highlights what is essential and dispenses with the superfluous: pockets, openings, and fastenings are useful and functional. Most often, military and utility clothing possesses these qualities: filtered by use and robustness, they have been selected and refined.

* its manufacturing quality meets the requirements of all the above, without succumbing to an inflation of details. Its exterior and interior finishes are useful, well-placed, and enhancing.

* it lasts: little subject to trends, sturdy enough to last longer than your desire to wear it. Paradoxically, it is often the one you will keep the longest, and which will indefinitely hold the best place in your wardrobe.
