So what is WAX treatment?

Waxed fabric is a fabric whose cotton threads have been previously soaked in a paraffin-based oil. While history tells us that this process was practiced as early as the mid-19th century, its true heyday was the 1950s. At that time, the textile industry really began to use its waterproof properties, particularly in the field of navigation. Traditionally, it is therefore used for outdoor clothing that needs to keep the body dry. Its appearance is slightly shiny. Hunting and many outdoor professional activities are also among the favorite areas for which waxed cotton clothing is found.

More recently, it is by mixing cotton fibers with polyester fibers that BRITISH MILLERAIN has improved the waterproof, resistance and aesthetic qualities of its textile creations.
